Corporate Paralegal

Special Counsel is currently seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal in Seattle, WA.

Candidates for this position will join one of the most influential and innovative firms in the Pacific Northwest. The ideal candidate is has extensive experience, is a self-starter, and has a commitment to providing exceptional service for a wide range of high level clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist lawyers with drafting merger and acquisition documents, real estate closings, and a variety of contracts;
  • Research, compile, and present information pertaining to corporate legal matters;
  • Circulate material, maintain meeting minutes, and keep detailed legal records;
  • Assists in implementing changes to contracts to comply with legislation/regulations.
  • Provide support related to litigation, mediation, arbitration, and responses to complaints.
  • Qualifications/Requirements:

  • ABA Paralegal Certification;
  • 5-7 years of paralegal experience; and
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
  • Skills:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize competing tasks;
  • Proficiency using virtual platforms to upload, organize and manage documents;
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Ability to take initiative and self-direct to ensure timely completion of work.

  • Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm (overtime as required)
