Are you an experienced litigation secretary interested in a full-time, permanent job opportunity in Beverly Hills, CA? You will be assisting four attorneys and one paralegal in this collaborative office. You will be responsible for drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence; preparing TOCs/TOAs and have an excellent understanding of formatting and the styles function. Additionally, excellent spelling and proofreading skills are required. Trial experience and a paralegal certificate are both highly desirable. Heavy filing and e-filing in state, federal, and appellate courts; handling discovery / eDiscovery; assisting with trial preparation; calendar management and docketing; and other tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate will be a pleasure to work with, with an energetic, proactive attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills. 7+ years of solid litigation secretary experience, familiarity with local judges’ practice standards is a huge plus!
Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Professional; experience with Worldox is a plus
Solid organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
Great written and verbal communication skills
