Special Counsel is seeking an experienced Docketing Analyst to fill a fully remote position. Our client is an AM Law 100 Firm with a history of providing a full range of legal and advocacy services to clients within the United States and Worldwide. This is a great Contract Role to work with a leading law firm aimed at providing comprehensive litigation and non-litigation calendaring services to the firm.
Independently calendar law firm litigation and non-litigation matters.
Create new records/dockets/event in the docketing database.
Search and retrieve filing information from various courts for docketing purposes.
Ensure adherence to calendaring procedures and processes.
Implement and maintain quality control measures for all assigned calendared events.
Research and respond to attorney, professional assistant, and paralegal regarding calendaring request and inquiries.
Identify and appropriately escalate any potential risk factors in various business situations to the Docketing Manager.
Prepare calendar reports as requested by attorneys and staff.
Handle special projects.
2-Year College Degree is Preferred
Knowledge of the litigation process.
Docketing is preferred but not required
Paralegals and Legal Assistants are welcome to apply
Candidate must have exceptional verbal and communication skills
Contract (5 to 6 Months)
37.5 Hours per Week
