ERISA/Employment Benefits Associate

Parker + Lynch is assisting a leading, full-service law firm in recruiting an ERISA/Employee Benefits Associate to join the firm’s busy practice in Nashville.  This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the top ERISA/Employee Benefits practices in the Southeast.  The firm routinely advises mid-sized to very large companies on:

  • Retirement and pension plan design, administration, and implementation 
  • Health and welfare plan design, administration, and implementation 
  • Employee benefits litigation
  • Incentive compensation and non-qualified plans
  • Merger/acquisition employee benefits support
  • Worker classification
  • Compliance with ERISA’s fiduciary responsibility rules
  • Executive compensation

Requirements include:

  • At least two years of substantive ERISA and/or employee benefits experience at either a large law firm or a sophisticated boutique
  • Juris doctorate degree from a top-tier law school and strong academic credentials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Being a motivated, self-starting team player
  • Be licensed to practice in Tennessee or eligible to become licensed in the state
