Executive Comp & Benefits Associate

An Executive Comp & Benefits / ERISA Associate position in the Bay Area is available through Parker + Lynch Legal, Special Counsel's Attorney Search Division.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and counseling relating to executive compensation, incentive arrangements, employee qualified retirement plans, and health and welfare plans.

 
Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidates will have at least two years of large law firm experience
  • Excellent academics and legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • LLM in Tax, specializing in the area of employee benefits, is a plus but not required
  • Must be a member of the CA bar or willing to sit for the next exam
  • Thorough understanding and working knowledge of Internal Revenue Code, ERISA, Affordable Care Act, HIPAA,etc.
  • Experience advising companies on comp-related aspects of corporate transactions
