Special Counsel is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our client in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in all areas of law operations, including billing, e-filing, prepare memos, correspondence, pleadings, petitions, and discovery with minimal supervision
  • Research and analyze law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes to prepare legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, or appeals, etc. for use by attorney
  • Support case work, drafting of pleadings, monitoring of cases, court appearances, case organization and client interaction
  • Conduct investigation, legal research and initial case assessments
  • Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics etc)
  • Coordinate requests between multiple parties involved by way of consistent communication with client and full partnership with attorney through end of case
  • Qualifications/Requirements:

  • College degree or paralegal certificate preferred
  • 2-5 years experience as a Family Law paralegal
