Health Care Paralegal

Special Counsel has a Health Care Paralegal opening with a great Health Care company in the Nashville area. This candidate would be directly supporting the General Counsel and Compliance team. For more details and consideration, apply below!

 

Responsibilities for this role include:

-Assist with litigation management.

-Be able to multi-task work duties in a fast-paced environment.

-Attend internal compliance meetings.

-Work closely with finance department to meet state and federal obligations for corporate entities.

- Prepare, negotiate, and review a variety of confidential agreements which include non-disclosure, business associate, MSA’s, vendor agreements, statements of work, amendments, and various other legal documents.

 -Work closely with commercial negotiations and agreements, etc.

 

Requirements for this Health Care Paralegal position include:

· 5+ years with the following: healthcare experience, managed care preferred specifically handling compliance. Contract review/analyzing, and paralegal negotiating with drafting agreements.

· Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred.

· High proficiency with Microsoft office suite and legal software experience.
