Are you an experienced insurance defense legal secretary interested in a full-time, contract opportunity in Fort Lauderdale, FL? You will be expected to be highly familiar with local and state court rules, as well as federal and state filing and e-filing. You will be responsible for maintaining physical and electronic files; calendar management; and other tasks as assigned. You will also be responsible for administrative tasks, including attorney time entry, routing incoming mail, coordinating teleconferences and meetings, scheduling depositions, and monitoring deadlines and schedules. Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of insurance defense experience, preferably in PIP
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) 
  • Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills with a helpful, no-job-too-small mindset
