Are you an experienced IP Legal Assistant interested in a full-time, permanent job opportunity with a fantastice firm in the Atlanta area? You will also be preparing and filing Information Disclosure Statements for patent applications; acting as a liaison between attorneys, legal staff, and USPTO regarding prosecution matters and docketing; keeping clients abreast of important developments in US/international patent and trademark matters; reviewing all USPTO and external counsel correspondence, docketing and noting due dates as necessary; assisting with domain name/website infringements and transfer of domain names; and other tasks as assigned.

The right candidate will be highly knowledgeable regarding US and international patent docketing and patent/trademark prosecution and registration procedures. 3+ years of IP patent prosecution experience, including USPTO patent filing
Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate required
Experience with the following softwares: Microsoft Suite (Word, Styles, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), PDF Pro, Pattsy, Adobe Acrobat, docket managing systems, and USPTO and WIPO websites
Comprehensive knowledge of IP law and USPTO practices
Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail
· Excellent written and oral communications with impeccable grammar and spelling
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible, positive attitude
