IP Paralegal & Transfer Specialist

This is a 100% remote temporary position. Anticipated to last a few months.  The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of patent docketing.

They will perform file audits to assess current prosecution status and upcoming due dates, and enter file data and due dates into the Docket system.


  • Review and check new IP files for current status, upcoming due dates and next action due; and assist docket team with inputting file data into the Database
  • Prepare and file Assignments, Revocation and Power of Attorney documents, and notifications of change of correspondence address to foreign associates
  • Correspond with client and or foreign associate as needed to obtain missing file documents, official correspondence or assignment information
  • Monitor docket as needed to complete file transfer actions timely
  • Qualifications:

  • 2+ years IP experience
