Special Counsel is in looking high and low for experienced Labor & Employment attorneys who would be interested in contract opportunities with some of our clients.
Common tasks that our clients regularly look for are as follows. Advising internal clients regarding all phases of the employment relationship, employment litigation, and transactional matters. The attorneys regularly provide counsel with respect to employee non-competition and non-solicitation matters and the defense and pursuit of non-competition and unfair competition-related claims. They also litigate a range of complex matters in venues across the country, including disputes relating to employment contracts, class actions and wage-related claims. With respect to transactional matters, the attorneys manage the labor and employment aspects of hundreds of acquisitions, divestitures, and other transactions, and regularly negotiate and draft executive employment agreements, severance agreements, and other employment-related contracts.
• JD degree with superior academic credentials
• Minimum two to three years of relevant experience
• Large firm experience preferred
• Admitted and in good standing with the state bar of Michigan
