Parker + Lynch Legal is assisting a top law firm client in hiring a Labor & Employment Law Associate attorney for its Houston, Texas office. This is an excellent opportunity that offers hands on experience, development and mentorship from some of the most highly-accomplished and well-respected L&E attorneys in the country.
The attorneys in the firm's L&E group represent and counsel clients in all phases of the employment relationship, employment litigation, and transactional matters. That includes regularly providing counsel with respect to employee non-competition and non-solicitation matters and the defense and pursuit of non-competition and unfair competition-related claims. They also litigate a range of complex matters in venues across the country, including disputes relating to employment contracts, class actions and wage-related claims. With respect to transactions, the attorneys manage the L&E aspects of hundreds of acquisitions, divestitures, and other transactions, and regularly negotiate and draft executive employment agreements, severance agreements, employee policies and manuals, and other employment-related contracts.
• JD degree with superior academic credentials
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Large firm experience preferred
• Admitted and in good standing with any State Bar
