Legal Assistant

Are you an experienced legal secretary interested in a full-time, contract opportunity in Fort Lauderdale, FL? You will be responsible tasked with working with attorneys, paralegals and other members of the firm with a series of administrative functions. Therefore, the candidate will have to have effective time managements and organizational skills coupled with the ability to be detail oriented. 

Responsibilities

  • E-filing through ePortal
  • Processing physical and electronic mail
  • Opening files
  • Other administrative duties as assigned
  •  

    Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience as a legal secretary, preferably in insurance defense
  • Familiarity with Aderant Total Office is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Self-starter Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
