Legal Assistant

Are you an experienced legal assistant with ample tax and corporate planning experience interested in a permanent, full-time job opportunity in Tampa, FL? You will be handling all aspects the trust and estate administration process. This will include drafting, formatting, and reviewing legal documents and correspondence including articles of incorporation, bylaws, tax credit transactions, UCC filings, and other related forms. You will also organize and analyze asset information, assist with Qualified Opportunity Zone financings, Private company financings; mergers and acquisitions; joint ventures; act as a liaison between banks and brokerage, and assist with Estate and Gift Tax return prep.

  • 2+ years of corporate tax legal assistant or paralegal experience
  • 4+ years of transactional experience required
  • Must be familiar with local and federal court rules and procedures
  • Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
