12 Month Contract to Hire | Associate Project Manager | Fully Remote

Special Counsel is currently seeking an experienced project manager to join our client in their legal project management team. This is a fully remote position with one of country’s leading Class Action & Claims Solutions associates offering competitive pay and benefits.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in project management, as well as a Professional PMP certification through the Project Management Institute (preferred). They will have exceptional planning and organizational skills as well as adept interpersonal communication skills. Additionally, successful candidates will have experience in or strong knowledge of the financial service industry and legal services industry.

  • Meet project financial requirements by providing accurate budget estimates and management along with monthly revenue forecasting and review
  • Manage execution by monitoring, evaluating, and guiding project teams to meet deliverables in accordance with time, budget, and quality requirements
  • Review and identify process improvements within workflows spanning multiple departments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across operational departments to ensure that project work is being completed in a timely manner
  • Meet billable hour goal and ensure that targets are met for direct reports
  • Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of project management experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Professional PMP certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI) (preferred)
  • A Juris Doctorate (JD) or Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or similar advanced degree (preferred)
  • Knowledge or experience in financial services industry or legal services industry (preferred)
