Are you an experienced legal IP docketing coordinator with domestic, foreign, patent, and trademark experience interested in a contract job opportunity in San Diego, CA? You will be responsible for data entry, all docketing communications, quality control of data, routine and special request reports, seeking information from third party websites to verify data accuracy, and other tasks as assigned. You will also process invoices (including USPTO deposit account), managing calendars, phone screenings, document preparation, coordinating travel, creating and processing expense reports, and coordinating physical and electronic correspondence. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience with all aspects of patent and trademark prosecution docketing, both domestic and international.
- 2+ years of relevant experience with domestic, foreign, patent, and trademark docketing; familiarity with USPTO is required
- Experience with CPI docket software and iManage is preferred
- Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Solid organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
