Litigation Paralegal

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing the highest level of litigation paralegal support to busy associates and partners
  • Mentoring junior paralegals and coordinating large litigation matters from start to finish
  • Assisting attorneys with maintaining databases and preparing for depositions and trials
  • Conducting substantive research and preparing corresponding summaries and memoranda
  • Providing status reports for ongoing cases
  • Cite-checking, Bluebooking and Shepardizing briefs
  • Utilizing various software applications to manage documents and facilitating the discovery process

Qualifications are as follows:

  • Minimum three to seven (or more) years of relevant experience, especially as a litigation paralegal
  • A 4-year college degree is required
  • Strong work ethic, along with intelligence and adaptability
  • Superior technical skills, especially when it comes to Concordance, Relativity, Case Map and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to work approximately 10 or more hours of overtime every week
