Litigation Paralegal

 

Are you a litigation paralegal interested in a full-time, permanent job opportunity with a top firm in Orange County, CA? We especially want to hear from those with eDiscovery certification or formal training (ACEDS, NUIX, Relativity, etc.), or experience with records management, data privacy, or information governance. You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents, presentations, and correspondence, including memoranda, pleadings, deposition designations, motions, briefs, exhibit lists, witness binders, etc.; filing and e-filing in state and local courts; preparing and maintaining case files, chronologies, indices, and document databases; word processing and file management for discovery and case management; document production duties involving tagging, redaction, and preparing privilege and redaction logs; file transfers, FTP, document encryption and security, and other client data management measures; assisting with eDiscovery vendor management and quality control; prepping for trial, depositions, and expert witnesses; legal research, and other tasks as assigned. Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
  • BA/BS or Paralegal Certificate required
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Excel), document review and file management systems, and eDiscovery platforms
  • Cite checking, Bluebooking
  • Solid organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
  • Great written and verbal communication skills supporting excellent customer service skills
