Litigation Paralegal

Our client, a law firm located in Salem, Oregon is looking for a full-time Litigation Paralegal for Direct Hire. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of litigation experience supporting multiple attorneys. The position is currently remote and will soon offer a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:
• E-file documents with State and Federal Courts
• Schedule and attend depositions with attorneys
• Conduct legal research and write memoranda in support of findings
• Communicate with clients, on a regular basis, to update them on the status of their case
• Draft and prepare various litigation documents and legal correspondence
• Prepare expert witnesses for trial
• Gather and organize exhibits in preparation for trial

Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of litigation
• Ability to work on multiple projects and multi-task
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Detail-Oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to produce quality work with minimal supervision and guidance

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Paralegal Certification preferred
• Real Estate and/or Foreclosure knowledge is a plus!
