Are you an experienced Paralegal clerk interested in a full-time, permanent opportunity in Tampa, FL? You will be responsible for assisting paralegals with a variety of tasks from discovery to trial/arbitration using the Firm’s established best practices and adhering to federal, state, and local court rules and procedures; calendaring; compiling, processing, and entering data from incoming mail, e-mail, and faxes; preparing and distributing reports to legal teams; monitoring due dates and deadlines; assisting with special projects; and other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
1+ year(s) of litigation docketing experience at a law firm or corporate legal department
Thorough understanding of legal docket calendaring practices
Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), PACER, DocketBird, and other online court databases
High accuracy and strong attention to detail
Excellent prioritization skills
Responsibilities:
Extract and code factual information from documents produced
Organize and maintain files in traditional and electronic fashion
Assist paralegals with the production of documents and creation of witness kits
Assist paralegals with creating chronologies and timelines of key events
Assist paralegals with creating deposition and witness preparation kits
Perform internet research to locate witnesses or relevant case information
Assist in preparing trial preparations
