Special Counsel is currently recruiting for an experienced Corporate Healthcare Paralegal for a Nashville area company. If you like drafting, reviewing and negotiating property-related and other commercial agreements this is the job for you.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Review and edit various legal contracts
Maintain a contracts management database
Research and analyze applicable statutes, codes and legal documents.
Assist in securing contract approval and signing
Ensure completion of annual filing requirements.
Understanding of common commercial contract issues.
Ability to quickly develop expert knowledge of right of way land leasing generally.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in teams.
Excellent project management skills, organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Bachelor’s degree or experience with contracts, particularly in the health care setting
