Paralegal Contracts Specialist

Special Counsel is currently recruiting for an experienced Corporate Healthcare Paralegal for a Nashville area company.  If you like drafting, reviewing and negotiating property-related and other commercial agreements this is the job for you.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and edit various legal contracts
  • Maintain a contracts management database
  • Research and analyze applicable statutes, codes and legal documents.
  • Assist in securing contract approval and signing
  • Ensure completion of annual filing requirements.
  • Position Requirements

  • Understanding of common commercial contract issues.
  • Ability to quickly develop expert knowledge of right of way land leasing generally.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor’s degree or experience with contracts, particularly in the health care setting
