Civil Litigation Paralegal Job in Jacksonville, Florida

As a Civil Litigation Paralegal in Jacksonville, Florida, you would be working with an established Jacksonville area firm right in the heart of downtown.

As a Civil Litigation Paralegal, you would be responsible for:

  • Providing litigation support for senior level attorney
  • Preparing and submitting documentation for e-filing in both Florida and Federal courts
  • Drafting correspondence, notices, pleadings and discovery documents
  • Managing attorney calendars and scheduling hearings and appointments
  • Handling transcription and dictation duties
  • Recording, coordinating and monitoring case activities from intake to conclusion

You are the perfect fit if:

  • You have at least two years of litigation and trial prep experience (Foreclosure, Bankruptcy and Financial Services preferred)
  • You are intimately familiar with Florida and Federal e-filing
  • You possess strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and legal databases
  • Strong working knowledge of the Florida Civil Rules of Procedure
  • You display a driven and positive attitude and demonstrate a proactive approach to case management
