Are you an experienced paralegal with experience understanding, summarizing, and analyzing medical records who is interested in a contract job opportunity in Beaverton, OR? Ideal candidates will have experience with personal injury, insurance/medical claims work, mass tort, and/or product liability. You will be responsible for accessing and reviewing medical claim documentation, entering claim decisions, escalating issues as necessary, data entry and verification, drafting and editing claimant-facing communications, communicating with claimants and law firms via phone and e-mail, data quality control, reviewing and analyzing legal documents and records, and other tasks as assigned. You will be expected to accurately follow written procedures and processes, so the ideal candidate will have high attention to detail combined with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 1+ year(s) of relevant paralegal experience (ideally with personal injury, insurance/medical claims work, mass tort, and/or product liability experience) with the ability to understand, summarize, and analyze medical records
Paralegal Certificate preferred
Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint), and document management software
Solid organizational skills with high attention to detail
Great communication and interpersonal skills with a helpful, no-job-too-small mindset
