Paralegal

Special Counsel is looking for a full-time Litigation Paralegal for our client in Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal helping support multiple attorneys. Candidates who are interested in this position should submit their resume in Word format. Candidates must already reside in the Denver area. 

Responsibilities:
•    Prepare discovery documents including interrogatories 
•    Assist attorneys in preparing for mediation, arbitration, and trial
•    File documents electronically 
•    Prepare case settlements 
•    Conduct legal research as needed
•    Prepare trial notebooks including exhibits, evidence, and requests 
•    Communicate with clients regularly via email and phone
•    Prepare witnesses for trial 
•    Draft and prepare various litigation documents

Qualifications:
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 
•    Proficient in Relativity 
•    Detail-Oriented 
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills
•    Ability to support multiple attorneys and prioritize assignments 
•    Knowledge of discovery, trials, and settlements
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive and professional attitude

Education and Experience:
•    Bachelor’s Degree is required
•    Paralegal Certification is preferred

Compensation: 
•    Per the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act the salary range for this position is 65,000 - $85,000
•    Full benefits package is provided by the Employer
