Paralegal

Our client, a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Seattle, Washington is looking for a Corporate Paralegal. This position will work in the office 4 days a week and 1 day remotely. Our client provides excellent benefits, a generous compensation package, and the ability to work overtime. Candidates must already reside in the Seattle area to be considered for this position. 

Responsibilities:
•    Conduct legal research focusing heavily on compliance matters
•    Work closely with the Board of Directors of the Company
•    File Compliance Reports
•    Partner with the finance team for Shareholder meetings
•    Handle compliance issues for company announcements
•    Handle corporate annual filings for all states 
•    Prepare and file SEC forms
•    Research regulatory statutes and regulations

Qualifications: 
•    At least 5 years of corporate paralegal experience at a law firm or in-house corporation
•    Experience working with government agencies 
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 
•    Strong attention to detail
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    Self-starter with the ability to stay organized and prioritize work

Education:
•    High School Diploma or GED required
•    Bachelor’s Degree preferred
•    Paralegal Certificate preferred
