Paralegal

Are you an experienced paralegal in South Florida who is ready to take your career in a new direction? Special Counsel is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time, permanent Paralegal position in Fort Lauderdale, FL. 

Qualifications:

  • BA/ BS in a relevant area of study
  • 3+ of experience in a law firm setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Responsibilities:

  • Prepare day to day client correspondence
  • Drafting and proofreading notices, pleadings, discovery documents, subpoenas, exhibit lists, etc.
  • Digital and paper file management, including FL e-filing 
  • Prepare discovery responses and documents for production 
  • Conduct legal research 
  • Other tasks as assigned
  • Salary/ Benefits:

  • Up to 60k
