Probate Paralegal

Special Counsel is looking to hire a Probate Paralegal for a direct hire opportunity with a great law firm. The ideal candidate should exhibit a high attention to detail, be a team player, and demonstrate an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting probate and estate planning documents
  • Maintain electronic record of case materials
  • 1450 billable hour requirement in accordance with client billing guidelines
  • Perform legal research for relevant case law
  • Assist with preparation of reports and provide status updates to clients
  •  

    Qualifications:

  • Estate planning, probate, and trust administration experience required.
  • Tax experience preferred.
  •  

    Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  •  

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree preferred
  • Paralegal Certificate required preferred
  •  

    Experience: At least 5-7 years’ experience as a Paralegal handling complex litigation matters
