Real Estate Legal Assistant

Special Counsel is seeking an experienced real estate assistant to join a growing Dallas law firm! You will be responsible for title curative work; assisting mortgage servicers with title resolution, including drafting legal descriptions, assisting with lien property disputes, vesting defects, easements, and encroachments; reviewing/analyzing title reports; as well as drafting closing documents such as warranty deeds and promissory notes.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of real estate legal assistant or paralegal experience; those with title experience are especially encouraged to apply!
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Solid organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Great communication and follow up skills
