Job description: 

  • Assist with commercial closings and formation and managed corporate entities, ordered title searches, tax certificates and lien letters';
  • Performed title examinations, prepared Title Commitments, cleared title issues, completed mark-up Title Commitments, prepared Settlement Statements/Closing Disclosures, Deeds, Mortgages/Notes, and affidavits;
  • Performed post-closings duties, including preparing bank closing packets, paid bills including mortgage payoffs, prepared Deeds, Mortgages and any other instruments for recording, performed bring-downs, prepared Owner and Lender Polices with endorsements, file UCC; prepared closing books; drafted Articles of Incorporation or Certificate of Organization, drafted Bylaws or Operating Agreements, prepared corporate documents including corporate resolutions, incumbency certificates, bills of sale
  • Corporate experience such as filing for EIN’s, prepared Subchapter S Elections, prepared corporate advertisements, organized minute books, prepared correspondence and communicate with clients is a big plus.  
  • Skills:

  • Detail oriented with exceptional attention to detail
  • Great oral and written communication skills with the ability to work with attorneys, bankers, and clients 
  • Good with numbers and organized
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to understand deadlines
