Special Counsel is seeking contract real estate paralegals for a project for one of our real estate clients. Qualified candidates should have the following experience:
Draft, negotiate, revise and finalize real estate legal documents, including, leases, amendments, letter agreements, subleases, assignments, SNDAs/NDAs, consents/waivers, memorandums of lease, commencement date certificates and license agreements.
Complete due diligence as necessary (such as title and environmental reviews).
Monitor completion of conditions remaining after legal documents are fully executed.
Interact with outside counsel and staff, opposing counsel and staff, landlord personnel, lender personnel and others.
Prepare and update reports as needed.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required, but a minimum of five years experience working as a real estate paralegal is required.
Ability to work in a fast-pace environment with very detailed information and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret real estate documents.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, adjust to shifting priorities and meet tight time deadlines.
Strong technical skills required.
