Remote Software Sales Contract Attorney

Special Counsel is seeking software sales Contract Attorneys for an upcoming long term remote assignment. Please see the details below and apply if you are qualified and interested! 

Assignment Details:

  • Projected Start Date: ASAP
  • Expected Duration: 3-6 months
  • Hour requirement: 40 hour?per week, Monday to Friday during standard business hours, flexibility within 7am-7pm hours
  • Pay: DOE
  • Required Qualifications:?

  • eDiscovery experience, Relativity or similar tool experience preferred
  • Active attorney bar license, any US state
  • Education requirement, must have JD
  •  

     

     

    Description Of Role

    · Review, draft and negotiate customer software agreements, partner agreements, data processing agreements, leases and complex supplier agreements

    · Liaise with, and support, insightsoftware’s contracts administrator team

    · Continuously improve all contract templates, liaising with foreign counsel on global templates

    · Drive scalability and operational excellence in deal processes and execution, including developing contract playbooks for legal and sales, and leveraging our linksquares CLM and salesforce CPQ software

    Support the legal department in other areas, including compliance and dispute/litigation management.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    · 5 years of experience in software sales contracting (very important the experience is on the sale side vs buy side). Much higher pressure and expectations and skill required in software sales vs software procurement).

    · Strong knowledge of key legal concepts and levers in negotiations

    · Skilled negotiator

    · Highly responsive

    · Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and manage workloads to meet deadlines in a challenging and fast-paced environment

    · Excellent legal and business judgment

    · Demonstrated capacity to actively solve complicated legal and business problems

    · Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills

    · Team player who can effectively engage with other members of the legal department and other groups

    · Flexibility to assist the legal department in its activities and its mission as needs arise
