Temporary Mortgage Document Specialist

A state organization whose mission it is to foster the creation and preservation of high-quality affordable housing, while working strategically to revitalize neighborhoods and communities throughout the state is looking for a Temporary Paralegal/Document Specialist to assist for at least 6 weeks. They are lookig for the successful candidate to start on October 12th. 


The single-family team requires an onsite temporary staffer for a Document Specialist role. The responsibilities for the role include the following:

  • Perform basic review of recorded mortgages, assignments, title policies and other collateral documents for compliance with SONYMA requirements.
  • Interfile collateral documents into agency records archives; and
  • Update records inventory system.
  • Candidates should have the following skills:

  • Familiarity with mortgage documents.
  • Moderate skills levels in MS Word, MS Excel, data entry and database management.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years of experience listed in description above
