Texas-Barred Document Review Attorney

Special Counsel is seeking Texas-barred contract attorneys for upcoming document review projects in your Dallas!  Whether you are experienced in eDiscovery or new to the field, we would love to speak with you to discuss any projects currently in the pipeline or to preemptively connect so that we have your resume and availability on file so you can be immediately considered for future projects.  We typically don’t have a lot of lead time to staff projects, so let us know if you’d like to be on our “available” list in order to be immediately notified of projects as soon as we receive a staffing request!  Please see below for general project details and requirements that apply to most of our eDiscovery projects. 

General Document Review Project Details:

  • Start Date: TBD
  • Pay:Varies -  $28 usually
  • Location: Most projects are onsite at the Dallas Review Center
  • Duration: Our projects range from days to sometimes several months – varies depending on client need
  • Hours: Most clients request 40-hour minimum weekly commitment (max hours vary depending on client need)
  • Roles and Responsibilities of a Document Review Attorney:

  • Electronically review documents in complex legal matters for discovery purposes
  • Utilize your legal training to designate discovery documents as responsive to issues
  • Work within top technology document review databases
  • Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be admitted to the Texas Bar and in good standing
  • Must be able to work at least 40 hours a week
  • Must be available to work on short-notice
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Prior document review experience is preferred, but not required
