UCC/Corporate Paralegal - Law Firm

New York City office of well-known law firm is looking for a UCC Paralegal to assist with all aspects related to UCC work. This opportunity is for a corporate paralegal who is open to primarily doing UCC work. The Paralegal will work on a blended schedule (some days remote, some days on-site)

JOB DUTIES:

- Must have experience as corporate paralegal and be open to only doing UCC

- Handle all aspects of UCC/ lien searches then prepare lien summary charts and arrange various types of UCC filings (Financing Statements, Amendments, Continuations, Terminations, Fixture Filings) with jurisdictions and follow up

- Review UCC financing statements to confirm compliance

- Respond to all inquiries as needed Interface with attorneys, paralegals, vendors, and other staff to monitor UCC financing statements throughout filing process

- Maintain UCC filing information in Firm database Web research

- Assist with all aspects of UCC work. Must be able to come in and hit ground running

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 3 years of recent, prior experience at a major law firms as a Corporate paralegal assisting with UCCs on all types of deals
- Must be open to solely doing UCC work 
- Must be open to working some days on-site
