Workers' Compensation Director

Special Counsel is seeking an experienced Worker’s Compensation Paralegal for an opening with a corporate client in Nashville. Candidates with strong worker’s compensation experience and strong technical skills are encouraged to apply!

Job responsibilities:

·  Managing internal workers’ compensation claims

·  Prepare updates for managers on status of claims

·  Maintaining an organized calendar for relevant appointments, hearings and conferences

·  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects is critical

Qualifications:

·  5+ years of worker’s compensation claims management

·  Advanced Microsoft Office skills

·  Excellent time management skills, written and verbal communication skills; researching/problem-solving skills

·  Experience with electronic document management system, preferred
