Opportunity

Special Counsel’s client, a large international hotel chain, was involved in a civil lawsuit between private parties, stemming from a luxury real estate transaction. The plaintiff purchasers’ claims included unfair or deceptive practices, misrepresentation and concealment, unjust enrichment, breach of contract, breach of good faith and civil conspiracy. After conducting a successful first review, the defendants re- engaged Special Counsel to perform a second review related to this particular matter. The second review consisted of 195,000 documents requiring substantive, responsiveness, confidentiality, and privilege review, along with redactions and the creation of a privilege log.
